Investigations into the discovery are ongoing.
Army bomb disposal experts were called to a property in Dublin on Friday (19 August) after a “suspicious device” was found.
In a statement, Gardaí said that during the afternoon they attended to an incident at a property in Finglas in Dublin 11.
A spokesperson stated that after a suspicious device was located on the property, the services of the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were requested.
The device was then removed from the scene for further analysis.
The Garda spokesperson also revealed that investigations into the discovery are ongoing.
