Australian Minister for Consumer Affairs Marlene Kairouz has apologised for comments she made about the Irish community Down Under, in which she warned Australian’s not to answer the door to anyone with an Irish accent.
Kairouz made the comments on this Australian news broadcast about a woman who had been scammed by a group of men who had offered to fix her roof.
This was her apology.
