Bad news if you’re a fan of illegally streaming Premier League football

The game is almost up.

“Anyone got a good stream for the game?” is something you’ll see online most Saturday afternoons during the Premier League season.

Instead of paying a ball of money each month on a subscription, you can spend five minutes closing pop-up ads to get to a grainy stream of your match in foreign commentary for free.

The main thing there is that it’s free.

The bad news today is because the Premier League’s most recent £5bn record TV rights deal, they are on a serious clampdown on illegal streaming site.

They’ve already blocked three of the biggest streaming sites in the UK and they plan on blocking over 100 more in the near future.

It looks like free Premier League on our laptops is coming to an end. Sorry lads.
