Batches of vegetable bakes from Iceland recalled due to “possible presence of glass”

Homenews

Take note.

Additional batches of vegetable bakes sold at Iceland Ireland stores are being recalled due to the "possible presence of glass". The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued a food safety alert on Friday regarding the Greggs Bakers Ltd product that originated in the United Kingdom. The implicated batches of the Greggs Vegetable Bakes 2 Pack have a pack size of 310g and the following best before dates: 19/06/21; 27/06/21; 04/07/21; 05/07/21; 25/07/21 and 31/07/21. The FSAI said in a statement that point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Iceland stores. The latest food safety alert comes after other batches of the same project were recalled on Thursday for the same reason. These batches also have a pack size of 310g, along with the following best before dates: 15/08/2021; 28/08/2021; 11/09/2021; 12/09/2021 and 26/09/2021.
