Belfast woman draws her beloved cat on missing poster

It’s not purr-fect by any stretch, but you have to admire this pet owner’s c-attitude. Though her artistic skills might need a little brushing up.

A Belfast woman is hoping that her drawing skills will help her find her missing tomcat Juke which has been missing for at least nine days.

A missing pet can be quite traumatic for owners, with posters and photographs a common feature to help locate the said pet. A drawing however is something we haven’t see too often.

The BBC has carried the story highlighting the lengths Stephanie Keown is going to in order to find Juke and given the fact both her sisters are artists, felt it only natural to pen a drawing of her own.

“I’m happy enough with the picture that I’ve drawn,” she said.

“It looks quite like him and I’ve described his features quite well, so I’m hoping that someone will see a cat hanging around and recognise him from the picture and description,” she added.

It’s not a cat-astrophic attempt by any means and it’s a more than paws-ible reemblence to the tomcat.
