Bill Cosby heckles female audience member in a VERY controversial way

What was he thinking?

The comedian bizarrely won applause for his comment…

Bill Cosby, who starred in The Cosby Show from 1984 to 1992, is currently in the news as a number of women have accused him of sexual harassment. The comedian, however, has never been charged in connection with any of the sexual assault allegations made against him.

Still though, you would guess that he may have thought twice before passing the following remark at a woman in the crowd.

According to The Guardian, Cosby jokingly warned the female audience member during a Canadian show on Thursday night that she may need to be careful drinking around him.

The woman was walking past the stage when she was asked by Cosby where she was going. She answered that she was going to the lobby to grab a drink and the comedian responded: “You have to be careful about drinking around me.”

Later in the evening, a heckler yelled at Cosby that he was a rapist and, as the crowd started to boo the audience member, Cosby asked them not to respond, waving his hands and saying “no, no, stop.”

A statement was later issued by his publicist:

“Dear fans: one outburst but over 2,600 loyal, patient and courageous fans enjoyed the most wonderful medicine that exist for humankind. Laughter. I thank you, the theatre staff (Budweiser Gardens), the event organisers and the London, ON community for your continued honour and support. I’m far from finished.”
