The perfect post-lockdown buzz.

After 18 months Bingo Loco is set to make a return to Ireland on 22 October with 25 locations across the country.

The interactive bingo show is back with throwback tunes, confetti showers, bizzare prizes and plenty more chances to show off your lip-syncing and dance-battling ‘skills’.

William Meara, Co-Founder of Bingo Loco said on Wednesday that they’re aiming to continue to “drag bingo from the dark ages into a full-blown rave” ahead of the long-awaited comeback.

“The global demand for immersive and interactive entertainment shows that people want more from a night out. We’re all about more,” Meara said.

“After over 800 shows, we fine-tuned the formula for the perfect social experiment. No two shows are ever the same and that keeps our audiences coming back time and time again.”

Some of the prizes that have featured in past Bingo-Loco games have included a brand new car, a VIP Coachella experience, a trip to Vegas – and lawnmowers and 10-foot teddy bears of course.

Originally formed in Dublin, Bingo Loco has since filled venues across the world and in 2019 sold more tickets than any other event in Ireland (including Riverdance and the Spice Girls).

Some of the upcoming event locations include:

Athlone, Arklow, Armagh, Ashbourne, Belfast, Carrick On Shannon, Carlow, Cavan, Cork, Derry, Drogheda, Dublin, Dundalk, Ennis, Enniskillen, Galway, Gweedore, Kilkenny, Limerick, Longford, Mayo, Monaghan, Navan, Sligo, Tipperary, Tullamore and Wexford.
