Very sad news.

A body has been discovered in the search for a walker who went missing on the MacGillycuddy Reeks in Kerry. John Dunne, a 61-year-old man from Tipperary, was reported missing after he failed to return from a hike on a local mountain trail on the afternoon of Wednesday, 1 June. A search was carried out and on Friday morning, Gardaí said that a body had been discovered and the missing person search had been stood down. Gardaí thanked Kerry Mountain Rescue and everyone else who assisted with the search.
