The body was discovered in Kilmainham in the early hours of Monday morning.
A male juvenile has been arrested following the discovery of a body of a man on a laneway off Madison Road in Kilmainham in Dublin in the early hours of Monday morning (14 September).
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of the man, having been alerted to the incident at approximately 1.30 am. The body of the man remains at the scene.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
A male juvenile has been arrested in relation to this incident and is currently detained in Kevin Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí in Kevin Street are appealing to anyone who may have any information in relation to this matter to come forward and assist them with the investigation.
