The body was discovered on Monday morning.
Gardaí are investigating all possible circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man in a container in the Balbutcher Lane area of Ballymun, Dublin.
The man’s age is currently unknown.
The discovery was made at approximately 10.50am on Monday morning (25 November).
He has been officially pronounced dead and the body remains at the scene where a technical examination will be carried out.
The results of a post-mortem examination will determine the course of the subsequent Gardaí investigation.
