Tragic news.
A body has been recovered on the railway line in Drumcondra, Dublin.
Gardaí have confirmed that the body of a man, age unknown, was recovered on Friday morning (6 September) at approximately 8.40am.
Emergency services attended the scene, while train services were delayed as a result.
The deceased man has been removed to the city morgue where a post-mortem examination will take place.
Results of the post-mortem will determine the course of a subsequent Gardaí investigation.
