The body of a man has been found by the Gardaí in Dublin's Grand Canal on Sunday afternoon.
The body was found shortly after midday near the Harcourt Terrace area of the Grand Canal. Dublin Live has reported that the deceased is believed to be in his mid-20s.
Gardaí have not specified whether or not they believe the body to be that of a man who was reported missing on Saturday after last being seen on Leeson St in south Dublin, nearby Harcourt St. The man's name has not been made public.
A post-mortem examination has begun.
