In somewhat of an ironic turn of events, a man who recently won a contest involving the hugely popular series Breaking Bad was arrested in The US on drugs charges.

According to The International Business Times, Florida native Ryan Lee Carroll was a winner in the much coveted Breaking Bad contest in September of this year that resulted in him being lucky enough to watch the finale of the AMC show with the cast and crew.

Carroll was arrested on New Year’s Eve after The Lee County Sheriff’s Office found $1 million in synthetic marijuana, nicked named “Spice”, between Carroll’s home and two other homes.

After winning the contest back in September, Caroll told local news station WBBH “It’s such a great show. I think it’s addicting because people can relate to the main character.” Adding, that the show was “highly addicting, just like the meth they make.” Might wanna work on not tipping off the cops there, Ryan.

Carroll resided in a suburban area of Florida that is apparently “not unlike” Walter White’s neck of the woods.
