It’s well known that Ireland and Lions star Sean O’Brien has a strong agricultural background, something that Brian O’Driscoll was keen to highlight today.
The Tullow Tank makes no bones of his love for farming, not that he is the only man with such interests on the Lions tour. Paul O’Connell posted this picture of Welsh flanker Dan Lydiate last week showing he too has the farming bug.
O’Brien has now taken over the mantle from John Hayes as the biggest farmer in Irish professional rugby and this picture shows just how seriously he takes his passion. And the title of the picture is very useful to clear up any possible confusion.

We’d imagine the animals on his family farm in Tullow are the best behaved animals in the country! And O’Driscoll was really on a roll with with his complements for the Carlow man.
He had a little bit of time on his hands, but at least he put it to such good use!
