Car somehow crashes through front of a shop in Newry

Instant drive-thru...

Instant drive-thru…

The good news here is that nobody was hurt in this incident that happened last night in Newry, Co. Down.

Snapped at the Fiveways Supermarket just off the Dublin to Belfast motorway, it shows the remarkable scene in the aftermath of a small blue car (possibly an Opel Corsa) somehow mounting the kerb and flying into the shop.

According to those in the know about the office, funnily enough there is a McDonalds drive-thru right across the road, so perhaps that’s the reason for this particularly bizarre bit of driving. We can’t think of anything else anyway.
