Lynsey was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017.
In September, she wrote about how loved and supported she felt.
Lynsey shared: "My house has been buzzing with family and friends and I feel so loved, still some friends and family to speak with about all that’s happening."
The campaigner also told her followers she was "working on me".
"I am still very much here I have been working on me and the best way to release something that has been truly physically and psychologically damaging and had me holding onto pain and trauma, in my life."
Lynsey is survived by her daughters Zoe (14) and Hailee (9).
Her close friend Una Healy posted a tribute to her on Instagram which reads: "I am heartbroken beyond words.
"I am so grateful for all the special memories we made together. Always in my heart, forever in my soul.
"Life is so precious and you lived and loved it to the fullest.
"Rest in Peace, my beautiful friend.
"My thoughts are with your family and friends especially your babies Zoe and Hailee."
