So bloody adorable.

On Thursday morning, Fota Wildlife Park in Cork announced the birth of four Northern cheetah cubs, two males and two females.

The cheetahs were born on 12 November, but the information has only been revealed today.

The six-week old cubs do not yet have names, and that is where you come in!

The Wildlife Park is calling on members of the public to help name each cub, and also be in with a chance to win a year-long conservation membership for each name chosen.

If you wish to submit a name for one of these incredibly cute cheetahs, you can do so here.

Although the mother – Nimpy – is keeping her cubs safely and securely in the den where they were born, they are starting to become active and can be viewed in the camera screen at their habitat on Cheetah Hill.

The Wildlife Park is open daily to the public from 10 am.

Kelly Lambe, Lead Ranger had this to say: “We are delighted to welcome four new cheetah cubs to Fota Wildlife Park as the Northern Cheetah is considered vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

“Cheetahs face many threats to their population including the conversion of their natural habitat, grasslands, to agricultural zones, conflict with humans and competition for food with other large predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas.”
