His family are ‘very concerned’ for his welfare.

Gardaí have renewed their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 43-year-old Cork man John Keaveney.

Mr. Keaveney went missing from the McCurtain Street area of Cork city between midnight and 12.30am on Monday, 21 August 2023.

In the appeal, Gardaí say he is bald and has brown eyes.

The missing man is also described as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build.

The last sighting of Mr. Keaveney was walking down toward the Centre Park Road / Marina Area of Cork city.

He was wearing a pair of navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie with the Irish soccer logo and white runners – as seen in a photograph issued by An Garda Síochána.

Gardaí and John’s family are said to be “very concerned” for his welfare.

“Anyone with information on John’s whereabouts is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 452 2000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station,” a Garda spokesperson added.
