Efforts are underway to find all people he was in contact with.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre confirmed on Saturday night that a case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the east of Ireland. The case is associated with travel from an affected area in northern Italy, rather than contact with another confirmed case. The patient is currently receiving appropriate medical care, according to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre. Public health specialists are working to identify people they were in contact with for advice and follow-up. This includes people who hd interactions with the man on all stages of his journey back from Italy. The case comes two days after a case of coronavirus was confirmed in Northern Ireland in a woman who had returned from Italy. The woman was in Italy last week and returned to Northern Ireland through Dublin Airport. For anyone concerned about the COVID-19 outbreak, you can read the HSE's advice on it here.
