123 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Northern Ireland

There has been 123 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours.

One person has died as a result of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours in Northern Ireland.

The latest figures, released on Monday morning, also found that 123 new cases of the virus had been confirmed.

In total, 22 people in the north have died after contracting Covid-19 and 533 people have been diagnosed with the virus.

This is a decrease in the amount of deaths per 24 hours in the north, after Sunday night saw the Public Health Agency announce the death of six people.

These most recent findings mean that to date, 68 people on the island of Ireland have died in connection with the virus.

There is now a total of3,148 confirmed cases of the deadly virus on the island of Ireland, with an update from the Republic of Ireland’s Department of Health expected this evening.

Recent findings from the HSE suggested that Ireland could expect a peak of cases at some point in mid-April.
