A useful real-time resource for the current moment.

Last month, a team of researchers at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, created an interactive dashboard that allows users to track the spread of the coronavirus across the world in real-time.

If you’ve yet to check that out, click here.

With cases increasing rapidly in Ireland – there are currently 1,273 cases on the entire island of Ireland as of Monday evening – the team at geographic information systems provider Síor Consulting has assembled a specific dashboard for the country.

Information on the tracker is updated on a daily basis, detailing the total number of cases in the Republic of Ireland, new announced cases for the specific day viewed, the number of related hospitalisations and deaths associated with Covid-19 and a county-by-county list of active cases.

There is also an age breakdown available, with all information sourced directly from the Department of Health.

You can view the dashboard via the embedded widget above or directly at this link.
