The body of Biddy O’Brien was discovered at about 8am in the Cois Cairn estate in Bray on Wednesday.

Biddy O’Brien was injured in the fire that killed her four year-old son Jordan and one year-old daughter Holly, in an apartment fire Clondalkin in March 2017.

She had been in a coma after the blaze, previously describing finding out her children were dead being “like a horror film”.

Her pregnant cousin Annmarie O’Brien, 27, also died in the fire, as did her two-year-old daughter Hannah-Paris.

This week, her body was found inside the house, alongside the body of her partner Jamie McGinn (38) who was in the garden.

Gardaí are awaiting post-mortem examination results to determine how they died.

Detectives believe that the case is a personal tragedy but results are awaited to confirm.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact Dún Laoghaire Garda Station on (01) 666 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
