Crystal meth cook in Chicago was wearing a ‘Los Pollos Hermanos’ Breaking Bad t-shirt when being arrested

Maybe he thought that somebody wearing a Breaking Bad t-shirt would be the last guy police would suspect of cooking crystal meth.

Maybe he thought that somebody wearing a Breaking Bad t-shirt would be the last guy police would suspect of cooking crystal meth.

Although pretty much everyone involved in the production of crystal meth in Breaking Bad was found out in the end, discretion was a key part of the operation at all times.

Elaborate methods were used to throw drug enforcement officers off the scent and the individuals involved tried to keep a low profile as much as possible, from Walter and Jesse to Gus Fring, Mike, Badger, Skinny Pete and the rest. Apart from Saul, of course.

Although he obviously loves the show, Breaking Bad fan Daniel Kowalski obviously wasn’t paying much attention to the discretion part, having been arrested recently after a meth lab was found in his home in Chicago for the second time in a year.

According to NBC Chicago, the lab was not active, but perhaps the most interesting titbit of information that came out of the story was that Kowalski was wearing a ‘Los Pollos Hermanos’ (the fictional restaurant chain owned by Gus Fring in the show) while being arrested for possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials amongst other offences and had his police mugshot taken while still wearing the t-shirt.

We dare say Daniel wouldn’t have lasted very long if Breaking Bad rules applied in real-life, but having been caught for the second time in a year and having his story go public worldwide because of the connection to the show, unless he’s ridiculously stupid we would imagine that his meth cooking days are over for good… bitch.
