Cuba Gooding Jr. hands himself in to NYPD following sexual misconduct allegation
The incident took place on Sunday evening.
Cuba Gooding Jr. has surrendered himself to the New York Police Department following allegations of sexual misconduct.
The 51-year-old Oscar-winning actor has been accused of groping a woman's breast at a bar in New York on Sunday evening.
The NYPD had reportedly been looking to speak to Gooding Jr since Monday morning, but Mark Heller, one of Gooding's attorneys, arranger for the actor to turn himself in to sex-crime detectives today (Thursday 13 June).
Footage from the evening has been viewed by Gooding Jr's legal team, and Heller told USA Today that "I have viewed the footage (of video surveillance) of the entire evening and did not see one scintilla of criminal culpability on the part of Cuba Gooding."
The 29-year-old accuser spoke to the NYPD on Monday morning, but her identity has not yet been confirmed, and nor has she spoke to any members of the press.
