Dean Strang isn’t the only familiar face from Making A Murderer who’ll be touring Ireland

The dream team have reunited.

The Christmas of 2015-2016 will forever be associated in our minds with Netflix’s groundbreaking docu-series Making A Murderer, which blew open the case of a man named Steven Avery – currently incarcerated for the murder of Teresa Halbach.

The heroes of the show, so to speak, were Avery’s lawyers – men by the name of Dean Strang and Jerry Buting – whose passion for justice remained steadfastly at superhero levels throughout the case.

Yesterday, we announced that Strang would be appearing in Cork and Galway as part of a tour, to discuss the criminal justice system and the implications of the Steven Avery case.

Today, the organisers have updated the event to include Strang’s old partner Jerry Buting – which means that everybody’s favourite attorneys-at-law will reunite in Ireland this September, in Cork’s Cyprus Avenue on the 22, and Galway’s Roisin Dubh on the 25.
