Irish Rail shared footage of the incident on its Twitter page.
Irish Rail has confirmed that there are delays to train services after a truck crashed through a level crossing barrier in Dublin earlier today.
The incident, which occurred at Coolmine Level Crossing, near Blanchardstown, affected services on the Maynooth and Sligo rail lines this morning (Friday, 5 March).
A white truck can be seen smashing through the barrier, with a pedestrian in the area at the same time.
Sharing the footage on Twitter, Irish Rail said that delays remain in place.

Gardaí and engineers were called to the scene of the incident, with the level crossing “badly damaged” as a result.
