Good news for the veggies of the world.

One of the finest staples of Irish cuisine is a good fry-up, and one of the best things about a fry is the sausages.

Bord Bia estimates that 8% of Irish people are vegetarians, and research also shows that people are more likely to reduce, rather than cut out meat entirely in their diets.

So if you are looking to stop eating meat, or at least cut down on your meat consumption, this news from Denny could be music to your ears.

Denny has launched veggie-friendly sausages with no meat, crafted with soya protein, coconut oil and the famous Henry Denny signature seasoning.

Denny itself described the meat-free sausages as “mouth-watering & moreish with our Henry Denny seasoning”, claiming that consumers will “get all the taste you’d expect from Denny, with the added benefits of being high in protein and a source of fibre”.

Available in shops now, prices for the Denny meat-free sausages will range from €3.
