Doireann Garrihy said the fake accounts are "soul-destroying".
Doireann Garrihy has slated trolls who set up fake accounts claiming to be her. The RTÉ presenter said people are lying about competitions and are pretending to be her.
She said numerous people have contacted her about the fake competitions. Speaking on her Instagram story, Doireann said: "Honestly, if I had a euro for every time someone’s messaged me being like ‘Hi Doireann, just wondering if this is a real competition you’re running?"
She said the fake accounts are "soul-destroying" for both her and her followers.
