Billionaire businessman Donald Trump made a rookie mistake today by trusting someone on the internet. Moral of the story: Never trust anyone on the internet.

A self-proclaimed ‘failed comedian’ who goes by the name of Philip Bradbury, or @feckhead on Twitter, recently tweeted to Donald Trump looking for a retweet in the name of his parents’ memory.

Twitter user @Feckhead also made sure to include a picture of his ‘parents’ along with the message “My parents who passed away always said you were big inspiration. Can you pls RT for their memory?”. [sic]

In fairness to Trump, he did retweet at @Feckhead’s request and Trump’s retweet quickly received thousands of favourites, but he’s probably wishing he didn’t press that RT button now.

For those of you who were born after 1990, the two people featured in @Feckhead’s picture are Fred & Rose West, infamously known for committing a string of violent murders on women and young girls between 1967 and 1987.

There’s only one .GIF that accurately captures how everyone in the JOE office is feeling right now.
