Describing the experience in a Thursday column for The Post, Morgan revealed he also told the former president that he blamed Trump’s refusal to admit culpability over the deadly US Capitol riot on 6 January, 2021.
“Then you’re a fool! And you haven’t studied,” Trump responded, according to Morgan.
Morgan claims that Trump called him a fool six more times during the interview.
The show will see Morgan making his hosting comeback more than a year after he left Good Morning Britain in an incident that saw him also storm off live on air during a row with co-star Alex Beresford.
