Donald Trump threatens to cut funding for those fighting California wildfires
Throughout his presidency, Donald Trump has made a lack of sensitivity his trademark.
That continued this morning, as the president weighed in on the wildfires in northern California that have killed at least nine people and seen 150,000 more evacuated from their homes (including the likes of Kanye West and Martin Sheen).
Photos from the area show devastation on a horrifying scale.
In a move that has surprised literally nobody, Trump has responded to the disturbing fire by threatening to remove federal funding for those responsible for managing forests in California.
In an early morning tweet, he wrote "There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!"

Trump has been on a strange one all morning, having also chipped in the following about the Armistice Day commemorations in France: "I am in Paris getting ready to celebrate the end of World War One. Is there anything better to celebrate than the end of a war, in particular that one, which was one of the bloodiest and worst of all time?"
