Homenews

Big news from the States this morning.

A federal judge in Seattle ordered a temporary halt on Donald Trump's 'travel ban' on Saturday morning. Trump wasn't happy. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/828042506851934209 The justice department filed an emergency motion to reinstate President Trump's immigration ban which blocks people from seven mainly Muslim countries and all refugees from entering the US. The appeal was filed last night and a US appeals court in San Francisco has ruled not to restore the ban. That means airlines will continue to allow passengers from the seven countries that had been banned to board planes to the US while also re-validating over 60,000 visas that had been revoked. The court’s denial means legal battles over the ban will continue over the next few days.
