All caps as well, so you know he means it.
Donald Trump has issued a threat to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in yet another example of a high-profile war of worlds with another world leader on Twitter.
The threat comes following Rouhani’s statement on Sunday, where he claimed that: “War with Iran is the mother of all wars.”
Rouhani went on to say that: “You are not in a position to incite the Iranian nation against Iran’s security and interests,” his statement coming amidst speculation that there were efforts being made in Washington to destabilise the Iranian government,
Trump took to Twitter to reply, as he tends to do.
The American president said that if Rouhani were to say something like that ever again, he would “suffer consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before”.
Except his tweet was in all caps.
To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!

Since then, U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has increased the tension even further, comparing Iran’s leaders to a ‘mafia’, according to CNBC.
The recent confrontation has come as a result of Trump’s decision to withdraw America from an international deal over Iran’s nuclear programme.
The withdrawal from the Obama-era deal was met with resounding concerns from a number of leaders throughout the world.
Back in May, French President Emmanuel Macron claimed that it would lead to war if Trump was to follow through with his decision to pull out of the deal.
Rouhani is yet to respond to Trump’s most recent threat.
