National Lottery issues “last call” for winning Donegal ticket-holder to come forward

Carl Kinsella

Lotto 2.5 million winner

The deadline is Friday.

One lucky Lotto player who won big back in June still hasn’t come forward to claim their reward.

The ticket, which was purchased in Donegal, would be worth a cool €30,094 if the winner were to come forward.

The National Lottery has revealed today that it has still to hear from the holder of the lucky ticket which was purchased on the day of the draw at Byrne’s Foodstore in Kilcar in Co. Donegal.

The winning Lotto numbers for the draw on Saturday 9 June were: 11, 12, 19, 27, 30, 38 and the Bonus 16.

Three months on, there’s still no sign of the winner — so if you’re in Donegal then you better bloody well get checking your ticket, your auntie’s ticket, your granny’s ticket, next-door’s ticket anyone else who might just be the winner.

In a statement issued on Monday, the National Lottery said: “If you’re the lucky ticket-holder, sign the back of the ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.”
