Worth a look before you get behind the wheel this morning.
Yesterday brought some welcome relief to most parts of the country as Storm Desmond started to die down a little, but the effects of the wild weekend of weather are still being felt all over Ireland.
A significant number of roads throughout the country are impassable this morning due to flooding and motorists are advised to check their planned routes before getting behind the wheel.
AA Roadwatch have been issuing status updates on roads throughout the country all morning and if your journey takes in any of the roads below then you may have to seek an alternative route.
MONAGHAN: The Clones/ Ballybay Rd (R183) is closed at Analore and motorists are advised to avoid the area due to rising flood waters.
