The shocking footage has been shared widely on social media.

The DSPCA has appealed for information after a man shoved a badly injured dog under the gates of the DSPCA premises.

The young terrier cross is believed to have multiple pelvis fractures, as well as nerve damage and bruising.

The DSPCA said that “the manner in which she was pushed under the gate must have been excruciating for her.”

Footage was shared on the DSPCA Instagram and Facebook pages.

The DSPCA said: “We are asking the public if they recognise the individual in the video or have any information that would help our inquiry.

“The person who dumped her made no effort to contact us by ringing the buzzer on the gate.”

The dog, who has been given the name Peach, has been taken to a local vet and is currently being looked after.

It is believed that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening (16 June).

Anyone with any information is being urged to get in touch with [email protected].
