It turns out, loads of people are forgetting where they park their car at Dublin Airport

We all know someone…

Thousands of people are flying through Dublin Airport and forgetting where they park their cars, according to airport officials.

Dublin Airport has 4,000 short term car parking spaces located beside Terminals One and Two, while it also has three long-term car parks with 18,600 spaces for use with both terminals.

So it’s understandable that there may occasionally be some confusion among car park users about where exactly you left your car, especially if you’re just coming back from a lengthy holiday where you forgot that Ireland even existed.

But Dublin Airport officials have said that 4,000 people last year were unable to find where they were parked and needed the help of airport officials to find their car, and this has spurred the Dublin Airport authorities into action.

They’ve started providing luggage tags at bus stops in the car parks so people can make note of what car park, what zone and what row they’ve parked in.

If this is too medieval for your tastes, Dublin Airport also has a system in their app where you can geotag the location of your car so you can find it easily with the app on your return.

The choice is yours…
