That’s some queue.
Holidaymakers had to endure a frustrating morning at Dublin Airport as a global IT issue resulted in a large waiting period to get through the pre-clearance checkpoints.
Dublin Airport said that the unusual waiting time was do to US CBP having “a global IT issue earlier this morning which has impacted processing times at pre clearance. The IT issue has been resolved however it will take some time for passengers to get through the facility.”
They also stated that these systems are coming back on line and that US CBP officers will continue to process passengers as quickly as possible.
As you can see below, this caused an extended waiting period for passengers that had just arrived.
US CBP is experiencing a global IT issue which is slowing down the pre clearance process. Airlines and passengers flying to the US from @DublinAirport have been informed of the issue.
