Dublin Airport has added 14 new long and short haul routes to its summer schedule

Now’s a good time to start thinking about those holiday plans.

Dublin Airport has announced that 14 new routes and four new airlines will be introduced this summer, including the addition of flights to Marrakesh, Paphos, Beijing and Hong Kong.

The move will see more than 1.7 million extra seats being added across the airport’s route network, an 8% increase in capacity compared to the summer of 2017.

The airlines which will be added to the airport are Cathay Pacific, Croatia Airlines, Hainan Airlines and Icelandair.

In total, there will be five long-haul and nine short-haul routes added to the schedule this summer, with Aer Lingus’ services to Philadelphia having already started. Meanwhile, the Seattle route will be launched in May, while flights to Montreal, Hong Kong and Beijing will be rolled out in June.

The full list of new flights is as follows:

March:

  • Marrakesh, Ryanair, 2 per week
  • Paphos, Ryanair, 2 per week
  • Philadelphia, Aer Lingus, 7 per week

May:

  • Reykjavik, Icelandair, 6 per week
  • Seattle, Aer Lingus, 4 per week
  • Manchester, British Airways, 1 per week
  • Zagreb, Croatia Airlines, 2 per week

June:

  • Montreal, Air Canada, 4 per week
  • Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, 4 per week
  • Beijing, Hainan Airlines, 4 per week
  • Carlisle, Loganair, 7 per week

July:

  • Dalaman, Ryanair, 1 per week

October:

  • Frankfurt, Ryanair, 12 per week
  • Luxembourg, Ryanair, 3 per week
