Queue times at the airport varied on Saturday morning from 19 to 59 minutes.
Dublin Airport has said passengers moved "smoothly" through the building on Saturday morning (3 June) despite a busy first wave of departures.
This comes after over 1,000 people missed flights last Sunday due to large queues and organisational chaos at the airport.
Following the controversy, Dublin Airport Authority (daa) CEO
Dalton Philips appeared before an Oireachtas committee during the week.
There, he outlined the airport's plans to deliver an improved passenger experience to its customers this June Bank Holiday weekend and into the busy summer period.
He said the daa's focus will be on maximising the availability of its staff resources, increasing the amount of security lanes open during peak times and improving its queue management systems.
In a statement to JOE, daa Group Head of Communications Kevin Cullinane said Saturday morning saw "another busy first wave of departures" from Dublin Airport.
"We had 11 security lanes open in both Terminals 1 and 2 from 4am with a maximum queue time of 59 mins in T1 prior to 6am and 40 mins in T2," he stated.
"Queue times at 6.30am were down to 30 mins in T1 and 19 mins in T2. At 7.30am, they were 20 mins in T1 and 27 mins in T2."
Cullinane also said passengers are heeding the advice to arrive 2.5 hours before a short-haul flight and 3.5 hours before a long-haul flight.

"Those checking a bag are advised to allow for up to an additional hour if they can by checking with their airline," he added.
"With 50,000 passengers departing every day, as well as facilitating the arrival of a further 50,000 coming into Ireland through Dublin Airport, we appreciate the support of our passengers in working with us to ensure everyone gets to where they need to go safely and efficiently."
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport posted a video on Twitter on Saturday showing departing passengers approaching Terminal 1 at 7am.
It included the caption: "Passengers moving smoothly through departures once again this morning."
As it stands, passengers at Dublin Airport are being advised to arrive up to 2.5 hours before short-haul flights to Europe and the UK and up to 3.5 hours before long-haul flights.
In line with this, the daa says that, during times when terminals become busy, it will be triaging access to them under its new plans.
This means the airport will only be allowing passengers that have flights leaving within 2.5 hours to short-haul destinations and 3.5 hours for long-haul destinations into the departures level.
Meanwhile, passengers who arrive at Dublin Airport too early for their flights could be asked to wait in a
holding area, with the trialling of this system to take place over the June Bank Holiday weekend.
"We don't anticipate we'll need it this weekend but this is what we will be building for the summer," Philips told the Oireachtas Travel Committee on Wednesday.
