More Council Service alerts are set to come over time.
Dublin City Council (DCC) has launched a free notification service for residents to receive alerts for services in their area on Monday (14 March).
DCC Alerts is an optional service that people across Dublin can sign up for online.
The potential alerts include:
New and decided planning applications.
Severe weather warnings.
Water outages and boil water notices.
Bathing water quality alerts.
River height sensors.
DCC is planning to add more notifications to the DCC Alerts service over time.
The service allows you to specify your preferred location, and ensure that you will only receive alerts relevant to you and your area.
Alerts will be sent via email and SMS texts.
You can sign up to the service via the Dublin City Council website.
