Lotto win Ireland

One Dubliner’s weekend has gotten off to a great start.

A lucky EuroMillions player in Dublin has won the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

The National Lottery has revealed that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased in the Spar shop on the Clogher Road in Crumlin in Dublin 12.

The EuroMillions Plus numbers for Friday’s draw were: 06, 11, 31, 32, 44.

The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and get in touch with the National Lottery prize claims team by calling 1800 666 222 or emailing [email protected].

Arrangements will then be made for them to claim their prize.

Upon learning his shop sold the winning ticket, store manager Hasiz Abdullah said in a statement: “We’re a small shop within a local community so it’s great to hear that one of our customers has had this big life-changing moment.

“It’s great news for the area as well so I am sure there will be lots of excitement when word gets out. I wish the winner all the best with their big win – we’re all so happy for them!”

While there was no winner of Friday night’s €84,880,433 EuroMillions jackpot, over 64,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games.

Tuesday night’s jackpot is now set to roll to an estimated €95 million.

On the same night, the National Lottery will begin a series of special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ events which are set to make five people brand new millionaires from 10-20 August.

These raffle events mean that there will be one guaranteed winner of €1 million in each EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 10 August, Friday 13 August and Tuesday 17 August.

The events will come to a close on Friday 20 August when not one, but two EuroMillions players in Ireland will win €1 million each.
