Dublin Fire Brigade rescued one person and two dogs from a city centre flat on Monday, December 4.
The incident occurred on Monday morning, when firefighters were called from Tara Street and Dolphins Barn to the flat, which is located near St Patrick’s Cathedral in the south inner city.
The person was rescued by the breathing apparatus team, and the two pets were brought to safety by two other officers.

Dublin Fire Brigade shared some adorable photos on their social media pages of the rescued pups, who look only a few weeks old.
In their post on X, they said: “Firefighters from Tara Street and Dolphins Barn were called to a flat fire in the city centre early this morning.
“One person was rescued by a breathing apparatus team and Firefighters Paul and Alex took two family pets to safety.”
