He must have foal-en in.
Get it? Fallen? Foal-en? Whatever.
Dublin Fire Brigade helped to rescue a foal who was stuck in Dublin’s Grand Canal earlier on Thursday. The DFB Twitter account reported that: “Earlier today crews from C Watch responded to calls about a foal in the Grand Canal near Kylemore Road. The young horse was unable to climb out of the canal unaided.”
Volunteers from My Lovely Horse Rescue were also on hand to take care of the young horse after the traumatic ordeal, including providing a blanket.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred in the past few days. On Monday, the fire brigade reported that a fully-grown horse had been stuck in the same canal near Bluebell.

My Lovely Horse Rescue noted that: “Last night there were 5 loose horses along the canal at Bluebell, which we reported to @GardaTraffic. This area is a hotspot for illegal flygrazing on council and private land and we’ve dealt with numerous welfare incidents here.”
