Dublin restaurant is giving a free breakfast to any child and teenager before they head to school

 A very sound gesture.

With the new year comes those pesky resolutions and while the majority of people will be somewhat selfish with their wishes – go to the gym more, eat better, read more books etc – it’s refreshing to see a company ushering in a policy that’s aimed at the greater good.

Skinny Batch in Rush, Dublin are providing a free breakfast to any child or teenager that pops into the cafe before heading off to school.

Well, it might make those early morning walks a bit more tolerable!

In a post on Facebook, they said that: “We think that every child and teenager deserves a warm healthy brekkie before school each day so here’s what we’re gonna do. From Monday next week, we will have a pot of yummy porridge on from 8-9am (or while stocks last)”

McCormacks Fruit & Veg in Rush are involved in this very decent offer because they’re supplying the cafe with fresh fruit for customers to take for free.

Sadly, for any hungas out there that want to get creative, the offer is only available for people up to age 18.

A very thoughtful gesture.
