Over €750,000 worth of cocaine, heroin, MDMA and cannabis found following search of houses in Dublin

The drugs were seized by Gardaí on Monday.

Approximately €758,000 worth of drugs have been seized by Gardaí in Dublin.

As part of ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the city, a search was carried out at a number of houses in Ballyfermot on Monday (13 January).

During the search, Gardaí seized cannabis resin, cocaine, MDMA and heroin with an estimated street value of €758,000 (subject to analysis) along with other drug related paraphernalia and documentation.

One man in his early 30s was arrested during the searches and taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station where he is currently detained.

This man remains in custody and investigations are ongoing.
