American supermodel and actress Emily Ratajkowski has sponsored Bantry Basketball’s Under 16s and 15s through her clothing brand, Inamo Rata.

Taking to Twitter to confirm the news on Wednesday, the Cork Basketball team thanked the model for her generous contribution to the club.

“Thanks to Emily Ratajkowski for her new sponsorship of our boys under 15/16 team through her clothing brand,” they penned.

It’s not the first time the model has shown her support for sport in the area, as she previously tweeted her support to a Cork school for winning an All-Ireland championship back in 2018.

The model and actress is a regular visitor to Bantry, where her father, John Ratajkowski, bought and renovated a farm house over 20 years ago.

She’s no stranger to the pubs either – she described herself as “more of a Smithwick’s or Bulmer’s girl than a pint of Guinness” in an interview with the Sunday Independenta few years’ back – and is a visitor of Doheny & Nesbitt’s pub on Baggot Street in Dublin.

Since the Bantry-based sport team is practically a part of Emily’s “home away from home”, we’re sure they are very happy to be getting the international, superstar support.
