With the resumption of normal air travel, Emirates is now looking for candidates in Ireland to join its multinational cabin crew team.

As part of this, the Dubai-based airline is holding a cabin crew recruitment day on the 24 and 25 May in Dublin.

Interested candidates are asked to firstly apply online while those shortlisted will be invited to meet the Emirates recruitment team in the capital.

The airline has said no prior experience is required for the positions, though there are a number of criteria that need to be filled in order to be considered.

As part of these, applicants need to be at least 21 years of age at the time of joining and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on their tiptoes.

The Emirates cabin crew members chosen will be offered an entire employment package, including a variety of benefits.

These include a tax-free income, free high standard shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to and from work, medical and dental cover as well as exclusive discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.

“Our cabin crew are open-minded, helpful, friendly and service-oriented and that’s what we need from candidates in order to deliver Emirates’ award-winning onboard experience to customers,” Country Manager for Emirates in Ireland Enda Corneille said in a statement.

“This time round, the first stage of the application is online, and those shortlisted will be invited to meet the recruiters.”
