The Nottinghamshire Police have since responded to the incident.

Following their win against Sweden on Saturday evening, it was reported that a group of England fans cause a bit of havoc in an IKEA store in Stratford.

Annoying? Yes.

An absolute bastard to clean up for those working there? Definitely

But no real harm was done.

It has now been confirmed that a number of England fans in Nottingham celebrated the massive victory over Sweden on Saturday by smashing up a taxi.

The incident took place in Nottingham.

Fans also broke a bus stop, and caused havoc throughout the city following the win.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police has said: “There are no arrests in relation to the damage caused after the football at this time.

“The damage was caused by an unknown offender but an investigation will take place in due course.

“The car involved in the incident has been taken away.”

Although we’re sure this is a small minority of England fans, it does somewhat tarnish what should be an iconic day for English football.
