There were no winners of the Euromillions jackpot on Tuesday, but there’s better to come on Friday.
Irish participants didn’t have too much luck in Tuesday’s Euromillions draw, with the biggest winners from these parts claiming €2,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle on the night.
There were 35 winners of that amount, while tens of thousands of Irish winners claimed amounts ranging from €4 for matching two numbers to €112 for matching four numbers and one lucky star in the main draw.
Nobody managed to claim the Euromillions jackpot of just over €79 million – €79,203,977 to be precise – but if you think you might be in contention for a consolation prize, the numbers in Tuesday’s draw were 9, 17, 21, 28 and 45. The Lucky Stars were 1 and 3.
As far as the Euromillions Plus Ireland Only Draw is concerned, meanwhile, the lucky numbers were 1, 20, 34, 43 and 47.
Regardless of what happened tonight, Friday night’s jackpot was always going to be a guaranteed €100 million, so if you had been keeping those fingers crossed before tonight’s draw, then you might as well keep them that way for another few days.
We’re sure it won’t look weird…
Anyone lucky enough to win that jackpot, meanwhile, will hardly wait as long to claim it as this man from Cavan did recently.
